Présentation (FED) : L'histoire d'une ville est importante pour comprendre sa structure sociale actuelle. L'évolution de la structure de la ville est étroitement liée à sa genèse et à la valorisation des aménités urbaines. Des verrous apparaissent : une fois qu'un quartier a été occupé par un groupe social, il a tendance à rester occupé par le même groupe. La combinaison d'équipements de loisirs et de coûts de transport différenciés génère une multitude de structures spatiales stables.
Abstract (authors) : The history of a city matters for understanding its current social structure. The evolution of the city's structure is strongly related to the generation and the valuation of urban amenities. Lock in effects appear: once an area has been occupied by a social group, it tends to stay occupied by the same group. The combination of amenities and differentiated transport costs generates a multitude of stable spatial structures.
